Having fun at the "JAZZ and Beyond" Festival

I am having a great time during the "JAZZ and Beyond" Music Festival in Carson City, NV. It is my time to play dress up and be the Cowgirl I wanted to be as a child. There is more than just JAZZ at the Festival and with 11 days and 30 performances I am having loads of musical input! Hoping to see you there! August 19th through August 26th. If you missed this years festival put it on your calendar for next year!

Winning Entry 2nd year in a Row!

I am so excited and pleased to announce that my entry into the Carson City, NV "Jazz and Beyond" Music Festival was accepted for the 2nd year in a row.

I have been busy getting my music fix for the past few days and more to come. 30 performances during a 10 day period! Awesome!

Hope to see you there and pick up a t-shirt too!

Gratitude . Thankfulness . Joy! I wish to thank the Nevada Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts for their continued support of the many projects I have received funding for.

The "We Are Our Words!" Women's Quotes written in my Calligraphy hand lettering have been my most gratifying experience. So many wonderful women friends sent me quotes to put in the piece, in posts, through emails, and by snail mail. I have come to find many voices and words of inspiring women through the ages who have done remarkable things with pride, resilience, and courage despite the hardships and challenges of their time.

I will be sharing these fabulous quotes throughout the year as a reminder to Women we are all to be admired and valued, and our individual gifts are meant to be shared!
