Presenter Guest Speaker Latimer Art Club Reno,NV

Last month February it was me who was the Guest Speaker at Latimer Art Club  Reno, NV.  I am the club's Speaker/Arranger.  I have been in that position for over 5 years, if not more.  The years pass by quickly when you are busy creating art, teaching classes and applying for grant funding.  

I shared with the club the video I produced with funding from the Nevada Arts Council (NAC) and the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).  "Inspiring Lettering" A teaching video of the history of our Roman Alphabet and also a calligraphy project working with 2 pencils held together with 2 rubber bands.

I am truly honored to also be on the NAC Teaching Artist Registry sharing my talents in Calligraphy and also Oil Pastel Smudge.  

The event went over well and during the presentation I sent around a clip board and 2 pencils so everyone could try their hand at it.  Great fun.
