What an exciting experience to be recognized for something that you truly enjoy!  My LOVE of Lettering and Calligraphy!

It was a 48 hour whirlwind!   Fox 11 send an email, I responded 12 hours later, not seeing it in the morning.   Called the next day, early.   Accepted the invite.  Took most of the day, to fill out their questionnaire.  You want to give them lots to talk about.  Drove to Reno, got up the next morning and was at the station at 9:15am - on at 9:45am!

My 3-5 minutes of fame for the beginning of 2025!  
Let’s see what my LOVE of handwriting and Calligraphy will bring me next…..? 
It has been an exciting first of the year, so far!

"All change is inevitable Grow with it!" is a quote stated by a dear friend, and mentor, Sandy Gibbs.  I called him by another name, Hunter! 

This is his quote that I had written years ago and now have changed the presentation by adding 3D items and making it a photograph of a Calligraphy piece.  It is the direction I wish to take with my work. 

Hunter is gone but his words, thoughts and soul lives with me.  I wish to share my gifts.

In volunteering for the Bluegrass Music Festival in Washoe Valley, NV  I had a sweet surprise.  The Festival offered a "Petting Zoo" where anyone, all ages were able to pick up, touch, and feel an instrument of their choice. 

I had always enjoyed trying the Guitar, but when I picked up the Violin/Fiddle it just felt so right.  Who knows what the future will bring!
